So far

Shower time, cut down. I make sure that when I take a shower, it is not on while being used and when I don't need the really hot water so hot water doesn't get wasted. Fans are off while no one is in the room. What's the point? No one's in the room. The chargers are un-plugged when not in use all the time. We haven't bought much of things that are not close, but we try.

What have I done so far?

So far I have made sure my fan was off when I wasn't in there. I have made sure things are unplugged when I was not using them (Charger for laptop, and any other chargers). The heat is off because we don't need it. I shut the water off when not in need in the shower. But I don't know about the buying food from here. We have chickens and had pigs so we don't have to use the store for eggs, chicken and ham/bacon ect.

Saving our planet, AND saving some money.

1.) What does my family do already to save our planet? We shut off the lights when no one is in the room. We make sure water is off when not in use, such as when we are brushing our teeth and not needing the water. We buy CFL light bulbs instead. I unplug appliances when not being used. Make sure our washer/dryer is off when done. Our washer/dryer changes times bye itself depending on the how many clothes are in there. We shut off the heat in the summer. We have a double sink so we can fill one up to do the dishes instead of running the water. We do a lot of things to save our planet.
2.) Within the two weeks I'm going to try to run the fan in my room when I'm not in there. Not keep my laptop plugged in if it's all charged. Cut down on shower time. Make sure phone chargers are unplugged while not in use. Try not to bye foods far from here, less gas mileage.
